Beach Parking Guide

Where to find beach parking in Naples, Florida

When it comes to beach parking in season, you need to be strategic. Millions of tourists flock to Southwest Florida during the high season so parking can be a bit tricky. Below are some common places to park and some not so common places to find parking.

  1. Vanderbilt Beach Parking Ramp - This is not a free ramp and it fills up early however, you car will be in a secured garage versus on the street in the sun.

  2. Lowdermilk Beach Parking - For $10 you can park in this parking lot, however it also fills up quickly as it is much smaller than the Vanderbilt parking ramp.

  3. Third Street Parking Lot - Down by the Naples Pier there is plenty of street parking but most of the best spots are reserved for Collier County residents that have beach passes. Police do monitor those spots and ticket vehicles parked illegally. Instead, try to grab a spot in one of the two Third Avenue parking lots. There is one located a block from the Naples Pier and one located behind Tommy Bahama’s.

  4. Bonita Beaches - The beaches in bonita have parking lots scattered up and down the beach. There are also a few public parking lots around Doc’s Beach House so a good place to start looking is there.

  5. Resident Parking Pass - If you are visiting relatives that are residents, they may have a beach parking pass. That will make visiting the beach much easier as the City of Naples reserves the closes spots for county residents.

  6. Ride Share - Getting dropped off at the beach or using a ride share service such as Uber or Lyft can save a lot time and hassle. There are also golf cart services in select areas that will pick you up at your house and drop you off at the beach.

There are plenty of options for parking however, it is a good idea to have a plan since parking lots may fill up before you get there. Always have a backup plan in case the lot you were planning to park at is full. Several of our rentals are within walking and biking distance to the beach so you don’t have to worry about beach parking. That’s the Five Star difference!
